So how do you make a mobile website? Or get a Mobile Version of an existing website?

Well there are lot’s of ways to get the job done, but the easiest by far is by using a mobile website builder and my favorite is DudaMobile.

Sure you can use a WordPress plugin (like wp-touch for example) to send people to a mobile version of your website. Only problem is, you will go through 5 different kinds of HTML5 hell trying to edit and spruce up just that version.

And yes, you can circumvent the issue altogether by using a mobile responsive theme (and this just may be the thing to do in future or in some cases) but if you want to monetize your mobile site and make sure specific ads are shown ONLY to mobile browsers then you had better use Duda.

You see your mobile version or mobile website should (and will) be different from a regular heavy duty website.

Why?

Because mobile browsing is different.

No one wants to read a ton of content on their mobile. And if they do, it should be a decent size…
Your images should fit the mobile screens
Videos should be mobile complaint (you might want to use Google Drive for mobile video)
Mobile Websites usually have a click to call phone number
And more…
And best of all Duda is FREE. Just click here to go and type your website URL into the Duda wizard and see how your website looks on a mobile device.

And if you want a pretty mobile version URL of your website that you can add to your hosting then Duda charges just a few bucks a month… and if you took the time to create a big website you should definitely host your mobile website as well…
